  • the first time i saw the silva/griffin ko i was instantly reminded of ali v liston 2 and the "anchor punch". what you do at around 3:05 and refer to as a " chopping punch" looks very similar and is applied at the same time. i've never believed Mr Liston threw that fight, i mean why go down on that punch ?? other arts call it a "sinus stroke", anyhow to see it twice makes me curious, and i look forward to exploring this approach and thank you for sharing your knowledge.

  • @MrByaeger you are welcome peace

  • My brother I've been asking this same question for a couple of days and I'm hoping you can help me. Can you PLEASE post a video that shows two 52 masters sparring or fighting. Not a 52 master against a student or a novice fighter. But a so called 52 master against someone who's known to be able to throw hands or another 52 master.

that big Kay fight with Rahmel was BULLSHIT. Both fightes would lead to believe they could dominate there opponent. AND THAT WAS NOT THE CASE. HELP PLEASE

  • @ImMr52EatDick first let's clear up a few things like the fact that no one is a master of 52, some cats are nice with the hands, and can bang lovely. as for seeing to nice cats go for it. it may still happen once a few dudes get out of the joint. Keep in mind that these dudes are in their 50's. sad but true, as for the fight yes it was BS i was there if you are not willing to stand and bang on your square then you will never see 52 in action however everyday we grow closer peace

  • @FarisiDaniel But what about all these guys on youtube posting vids claiming they are masters. Why can't we see them in action. All they do is talk talk talk talk talk. When it's time to show up they pull a blade. I was disappointed in that video. Big Man, waaaaaay more humble. His crew, waaaaaaay more righteous bc when that blade came out....NOBODY ran, gotten out of the way, YES, ran NO. One dude even stepped in front the blade so big man wouldn't get poked.

  • @ImMr52EatDick the truth is bruh 52 is being hustled some of us are putting in the work to bring the art up, others are just riding the name for a buck. We want to bang for it, but you saw what happen last time. If cats don't want to fight that will happen. We have far to much to lose to keep chasing cats that won't bang. I was the guy who moved in front of the blade at that point we all became men as we lived up to our creed of community first. 52 is about being a man of yr word

  • I love it. The guy is giving Anderson Silva advice on martial arts from what seems to be a truck stop restroom.

  • @V67850

My view is on 52 blocks is it does not have to be a complete martial art.It is very good at dealing with skilled boxers with quick jabs and the ability to switch up at the last secound.52 will implove your relexes with your arms and upper body.

as far a wresthling ,grappling, and low kicks or knife work, gun disarms and so on ,well that is other work that is good to work on as well 52 is great for simply dealing with a quick powerful boxer. That alone makes it worth learning

  • @NYWAORCANZ Part 2: The only way to overcome someone with that understanding, is to blast forward, and be actually hitting--not hitting at---your opponent. What do you think of these 52 blocks? My only problem with them is that there are 52 of them!

  • @NYWAORCANZ You are welcome, and we'll do! Yeah, I agree. And even alot of ufc fighters

dont know as much as some of us out here. But in the case of a few of them, like silva,penn,machida,jones----they know a little. And thats why they tend to dominate alot. Alot of ufc fighters ---like this" white guy"---dont realize that the more distance you have between your opponent, the more time & ease--your opponent can react and counter you--no matter how skilled the opponent.

  • @V67850 THanks I did not know this concept actually had an exact name.THanks again and email me anytime.I have the impression we have a lot in common or at least common interests.

  • @NYWAORCANZ " The white guy walking into the punch"--- is exactly what happened. The technical name of what silva used Is called the addition of velocities. That coupled with an understanding of the time/distance variable.

  • watch the whole fight and you'll see that Griffin was already damaged before that jab knocked him down.

  • within mma, rampage is a good boxer; i dont think anybody can toe to toe exchanges punches with him. even jon jones knew he could not beat rampage by striking.

  • that punch came from "no where" basically it was "invisible" because came from the waist and snucked up and over the attacking left arm plus the fact the white guy was walking into the punch also helped

  • I vot hip to the 52 block on a sub zero doc. Im loven it in will very like to enter bow can i other then teach my self from this youtube thing let me know
