  • Thank you for the tip on crushing the dried tomatoes. Today I am dehydrating my first batch of roma tomatoes in my dehydrator and while they dry I'm researching how to store and use.  Guess I'll have to buy a rolling pin :-)

  • have you considered getting one of those food saver devices that is supposed to suck the air out of the bags?your dried tomatoes you have in the freezer might last longer if you did that.i've dried tomatoes and put them in olive oil but have been thinking of the extras and have been thinking about the food saver myself.
