I wish people would realize that this is not the type of artist you make noise or try to sing along with. He should have given one of the mouth breathers in the crowd the mic if they wanted to sing so damn badly. Way to ruin a great performance by being obnoxious New Orleans, you're not funny when you scream during breaks either.  And it's usually some dumb biatch who's trying to be cool too.

Well said. One of the truly beautiful aspects of an Iron & Wine show (ought to be) is the audience being so quiet you could hear a pin drop.

That's how it is usually when it's only him and his guitar. When he brings his band I think the audience gets more rowdy. :(

Yeah, the crowd was a little bit rowdier than I'd have liked, but it was definitely cool to have the whole band there too.
