@danielstone93 well when it comes to melodic (not shred stuff) solos the finger appearing a little above the neck is ok, because you get a better grip and you vibrato a lot better and bend better too. Plus playing without a pick will only get you so far

It wasnt fast enough as clearly stated. Try keeping your thumb on the back of the neck aswell instead of hanging over the top of the neck by the thick E cause you'll be able to reach the notes easier and it'll improve the strength in your fingers. other than that it was a pretty good first attempt :D
