Thanks for the information, I guess the British are smarter than the American in this case, they recognized the opportunity and did the right thing regulating the industry.

I don't get it, why to ban this commercial? there are much worse, violent commercial broadcasts all over the place... this one is kinda innocent at least in my view...

Where is it legal to advertise Poker on national TV? Are you talking about the UK alone?

The 2005 Gambling Act, which came into effect in September 2007, allows gambling (both off- and on-line) to advertise like any other service or product, including on television.
