Live performance by Les Savy Fav on the 2003 Tinkle NY Booze Cruise with David Cross. Singer Tim Harrington is dressed as a plus-size David Cross, drummer Harrison Haynes as Weird Al and bassist Syd Butler as Steve Martin.
Uhhh, I know. I kind of bought it when it came out. But if you look in the booklet, it states that "Hold Onto Your Genre" was recorded in the summer of 2003, and engineered in the fall. Making this song close to four years old.
Ahh yes, now i notice that. I always thought he was some old-ish man at one point when I saw the first promo shot. I'm gonna seriously check this band out, I love what I've heard so far.
Notice how this is titled "2003." And they are playing "Hold On To Your Genre", and Tim said that it's new. That song is four years old by this time. Tim's beard is still intact, at least I hope it is.
