Classic Game Room HD reviews JUPITER LANDER for the Commodore 64 computer and video game system from 1982! This is proof that only sissies land on the moon, real men land on Jupiter!!! And real women and robots, dogs, mutants and the undead. Basically Jupiter is where its at! Lots of gravity, easy to spot from earth and it has a lot of moons to harvest for ore and start wars over. Jupiter! Even though this is basically a clone of Ataris classic arcade hit, Lunar Lander, Jupiter Lander is a fun game that can be played with the Commodore 64 keyboard or joystick. Land your spaceship safely so that you can die afterwards when you are unable to breath or escape Jupiters gravity. Jupiter Lander is the first Commodore 64 review from Classic Game Room, who has a Commodore 64 computer and disk drive. This CGR review of Jupiter Lander has gameplay from Jupiter Lander on Commodore 64, the video game reviewed here. For other Commodore 64 game reviews make sure to keep watching Classic Game Room. Jupiter Lander is available as a game cartridge. Jupiter Lander is also available for the Vic-20.

  • Had this on vic 20

  • Game *cartridge*?! I'm a Limey, tapes were the way to go back in the day with their half-hour loading times! I know it's probably a bit of a wild request, but I'd love reviews of the Sinclair ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC range and the BBC Micro, though whether you'd get any working in the States is probably too much to ask...

  • I still have this cart! And Jumpman Jr., Q*bert, Buck Rogers, Tooth Invaders, and Radar Rat Race!

I also have my c-64's cassette drive - boxed!

  • Commodore 64, the GREATEST computer ever! I said EVER!!!

  • @EpicTwistedOne Emulator? LAMER! :-))

  • COMMODORE 64 FTW!!! (that is free's the whales)

  • Hi Mark, if you have a floppy disc drive and be able to get the game wizball from ocean software than do it! because its one of the best looking and sounding games on this computer. Its a sidescrolling shooter where you steer a wizard and his cat both in ballshape to shoot enemys and collect colourdrops to repaint your world. It sounds strange but it is a hell of a game. :-)

  • or you could just get an emulator

  • @OBSysteme : there are also many, many other great game-cartridges from the 'old' days available for the C=64 that deserve to be mentioned, like: Ms. Pac-Man, Frogger, Defender, Tapper, Q*Bert, Gyruss, Kickman, Lode Runner, Choplifter, Oil's Well, Wizard of Wor, Pitstop, Gateway to Apshai, Stix, Miner 2049'er, Centipede, Moon Patrol, Omega Race, Diamond Mine, Gridrunner, AMC, Juice and Solar Fox! (And don't forget the excellent games that Ocean and others put on cartridge in the 90's..)

  • MARK NEEDS TO REVIEW THE C64
