Saw them 3 times. At one of the shows in Hollywood I spoke with James a bit. He asked me what i wanted to hear and I named a track. When they got on stage just before jamming they said this song goes out to (me). I shit my pants and was like what?!!?!? They are freakin cool!!!!!!!

This was/is one of my favorite bands of all time. Seen them live close to a dozen times. Drove across the country to see them do New Year's Eve in their home town of Lawrence, KS. But honestly...they're not very good live.
