  • Hey guys. I'm battling from schizophrenia. I'm not asking for money or views or anything, but just for support and for people to hear me out. My psychiatrist said to let people know about your problem, but everyone thinks I'm weird and my family cannot understand or take me seriously. I made a blog about my problems, and I hope we can talk on there. My blog is battlingschizophrenia.blogspot.com . Fellow schizophrenics, you should also come. We can fight the battle together.

  • @sokseb A mental disorder is a life long illness, how is it possible to cure it. It can be treated which helps sufferers to live a normal productive life, but that doesnt mean you get cured from it, it just gets treated.

  • Got to love capitalism.... The gentleman in this video a typical example of this first diagnose and label, then provide the treatment usually extremely powerful medication ( with huge side-effects) and finally socially alienation. One question provide me with the evidence this "so called" condition exists? Just one piece of credible research not done by drug companies, psychologists or psychiatrists. ANYONE

  • Some people can and do recover.

  • @redzisan This is mostly my own opinion since I don't see any hard facts about these things anywhere. But yea, I've seen some of the procedures in clinical psychology which gives me strong doubt. I've also read from different sources about it but that is secondary to me. Just go into a clinic yourself and have a look at how they work. The old saying of "A psychologists job is to convince you that you have a problem." really makes sense after that. Nothing against psychologists.

  • @sokseb yeh, you are right,. people that say its a long term illness they are wrong, stats recall that loads of people with this mental problem in the long run recover well

  • @ashybline wrong, it can be cured with the right help, mind treatment along with drugs, stats say that in the long run people recover well....

  • Many refuse treatment (or are in denial), and many can't cope/live in the mainstream because of their bizarre behavior, (more than likely from severe rejection by either society of their mothers and fathers). Their thoughts are so disorganized and this specific mental illness is not always easy to detect. However, once detected, immediate treatment is necessary by a qualified mental health M.D.

  • @Rudgar2011 that is actually really good advice.. im not sure if I have it or not. I used to think peoples attention were always on me. My main symptoms are apathy and social withdrawl(not severe) but both are improving. I do have great concern what people think about me... it weighs heavily on me at times. I need to keep in mind that nobody is perfect and try to better myself daily.
