Duke studies find banked blood loses ability to deliver oxygen to tissues. Replacing nitric oxide in donated blood could solve the problem.

I googled this topic to get more information. I think that Jonathan Stamler should have mentioned that he worked as a consultant for a company called N30 Pharma, which is developing therapeutic uses for nitric oxide.
