  • My favourite part is the end when she bares her very hurt soul to people who will later bash her on youtube or elsewhere for being "weird" and or "crazy". Let's make fun of rape victims? Fucking whack jobs you are.

  • @marshfish I think we all have that element in us. Just most of us keep it tucked away out of fear people might think we're nuts. For her to allow herself to get THAT vulnerable takes a little bit of guts, a little bit of the desperation to unload, and enough pain to not care about what her audience thinks . Tori kept silent for 7 years following her rape. My guess is that she uses her music as a shrink's sofa and that's the only time she lets go. I truly believe this.

  • wooow....idk wtf i jst saw at 4:05......kinda creepy. she looks totally whacked out after that weird scream. you dont think her eyes look weird????

  • Si souvent Tori Amos nous laisse à voir son "inner soul". Quelle force !

  • Oh, I see what everyone was talking about. If you can see it for what it is, it's beautiful and terrible at once. If you're intuitive enough to understand the reason she expresses in that manner, it makes your skin crawl. Because it's profound.

  • @cmdraven I don't think it is about a nights entertainment, you just can't pigeon hole artists like that. I see it as receiving information about another person's experience in life but just not through the medium of writing or painting or chatting. Tori is expressing things through the music and the lyrics and this particular version of the song that cannot be expressed by sitting down with a friend in a cafe and saying, "hey, I really feel like this today."

  • @WashMeCleann and @marshfish - I totally agree

  • Also, I think some people have a hard time recognising artistic expression, I don't think they understand it or are maybe frightened of it so they assume it is some evil thing. I think she is just expressing herself (whether you appreciate it or not). By all accounts she had recently suffered a miscarriage and was very sad and angry about that and she was also playing to a New York audience - many performers have said you have to up the ante with NY and this is Tori upping the ante.

  • For those of you on this thread that think Tori Amos is a victim of Project Monarch mind control, whilst I'm not denying the existence of such projects in the past or now, I do not think that this artist is or has been a victim. The section where you think she is using a Nazi salute to trigger herself seems to me to just be her raising her hands as part of the voracity with which women/people can attack each other.

  • @irishhellsangel and you're an idiot for believing in Satan (and Illuminati). I bet you believe in big daddy god as well.

  • @EddieCurrentFan Because she worships satan and is a illuminti puppet.
