@saintofalldays I don't watch car videos, so I wouldn't know. All I can say is that I don't plan to change the way I present my videos.
-
@renegade410 I don't disagree but am I seriously the only person on you tube tired of every gun video starting with 3 minutes of 16 methods to clear a pistol..?? do all car videos have to start with the camera man showing everyone on the internet that the car is in park and the e-brake is up?

@saintofalldays Because safety is very important and is part of a well trained person's mindset.

@leadingall Earlier this year I was debating between buying a Ruger SR9 or a Sig 226. I loved the feel of both of them in my hand and loved the trigger on the SR9. I was able to shoot quite accurately with the Ruger SR9. Because it was less money, I went with the Ruger. About a month later, I wished I had gotten the Sig, so traded the SR9 in on the Sig. They gave me a $120 less than what I paid for it a month earlier. Go with the Sig or you may regret it. Btw, the SR9 is a very nice gun as well

Great video. Thanks very much for your time on this. I just purchases a Sig P250 and have yet to clean it. Your vids will come in handy.
Stay safe out there on duty!
Hey renegade. Great video. Two questions. How often should you clean out the magazine well? Is that a once a month thing? Also the magazine itself, should it be cleaned after every visit to the firing range?

@TheCderosa Cleaning the magazine well is part of my routine when I clean my firearms. The magazines do not require a cleaning after every use. I usually clean them when I get some time, or if they have gotten very dirty at the range (such as have been dropped in the mud or have collected a lot of dirt from the range visit).

I'm seriously considering the p226 in a 40 (with a stainless finish and frame) as my next purchase. My question to the 226 community is: is the +$500 purchase price worth it over less expensive models like the m&p or glock? I'd rather make a more expensive purchase off the bat and be totally satisfied than make a less expensive purchase and wish I'd have gotten something else.

@leadingall Its all going to depend on who you ask. I like everything about the Sig. It was designed for the US military, it surpassed all the standards set for it. Some military units (SEALs, etc) use them. Many law enforcement agencies (FBI, DHS, Air Marshals, many local agencies...) trust them. I could have chosen a Glock as my duty weapon, but I have had issues with them in the past. They are all well designed, quality firearms, so it depends on your prefernces. Out of those guns, I go Sig.
