That's a dick thing to say. There are plenty of reasons to have a dd65 or similar item. Some people buy/use them as an introduction to drums, to make sure they really want to play before they spend a lot of money on a real kit. Others live in apartments and can't play on an acoustic set. Calling someone a geek and telling them to "geta a real kit" seems ignorant and rude.
