@ChineseAtheist Firstly, 13th century until now is quite "ancient". Seconldy, so what if the Uyghur people were Christian, from the 1200s they became Muslim. But the city has always been one of Uyghur people. If today, the Uyghurs were Christian, then Urumqi should still belong to them, not to the communists from East China.

Also, go look at the Uyghur genetic lineage. (google it). They are of Turkic origin and the people are more closely linked with Central Asians and Afghanis than Chinese.

Until 13th century Uyghur people were Christian, Nestorian. How can there be an ancient muslim town? Religions are so silly, always want to rule the world and create ethnic tensions. In 18th century Manchu people conquered it. Minorities have many privileges, they don't have one-child policy, so they grow very fast, while Han Chinese decrease. There also Uyghur party members, so how can you say that Han Chinese rule over Uyghur? These racist islamists attack also tibetans, and poor workers

There is a which differeence between the two, and its painful that you can't see the difference. Han-Chinese can work in this ancient Muslim town and city (that used to belong to non-Chinese people, but other Central Asians for thousands of years). But they shouldn't rule the people there with their rules, especially when they are not from that land and they never have been.

Muslims work in Europe, but they don't call Europe "Saudi Arabia" or another Muslim name.

China is a multiethnic country. Many Uyghur leave and work in Shanghai, so how can you deny the right of Han-Chinese to work in areas, where racist Uyghur live?

Millions of you muslims go and work in Europe, but when somebody wants to work, where muslims live, you say, your culture is under attack? Do you exepect us, to respect this hypocracy?

This town and city has always been a Muslim city. The communist Chinese should just leave the people of that city alone and fuck off back to Beijing. West "Chinese" people would be better in a country along with Kazakhstan or the countries to its West.
