RT presents War Witness - a special project dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War. World War II veterans recount their stories about the war - from how it began to how it ended. Milton Dierker was a seaman first class in the US Navy during the war. He sailed to Murmansk, Russia, as part of a convoy delivering war material to the Allies. There, he became a witness to a German air raid.

  • God bless the U.S and Russia.....let peace rule the world.

  • I'll bet 'ole Milton wasn't expecting a trip to Russia at all when he joined the Navy. You can hear it in his voice. But I'm sure he reflects proudly on that experience, making him a wiser person.

  • my family emigrated from russia in 1992. Once I gratuated high school in 2000 I joined the us navy. I met some old timers who were in ww2, it was always interesting to talk to them about their exploits. I always got some weirded out looks though since i had accent and was female in the navy.

  • @thegreendestiny Yes, it is a privileged for you that I responded to some of your post. It only doesn't make sense if your dumb. But you and everyone else knows what I was walking about, ha ha, what a show up by the terrorists.

  • @UK5098 Wow. Are you that obsessed with me that you have to follow my posts in different videos just to make senseless responses? I'm flattered already.

  • @thegreendestiny Russia tries to stab absolutely everyone in the back and the reason for this is obvious, just look how shit they do in a shooting confrontation, like the time they 'surrounded' some 'terrorists' in a village in one of the small occupied countries, when in the night all the 'terrorists' escaped, LOLOL, they must have walked right past the brave, pissed, russian army. Losers. The only thing the russian army can beat is their own new recruits, the nasty lowlife arseholes.

  • Murmansk is close to finland
