@supersaninpikachu Sure is. Listen to the episode with the Nagato vs Asakura fight. He is whistling something about 'his lost thing' as he enters the classroom with Kyon and Yuki.

It is.

In Haruhi, there's a scene where Minoru's character walks into the classroom where Yuki and Asakura had their fight. He walks in, says "Wa-wa-wa-wasuremono", stops himself when he sees Kyon holding Yuki, and runs off.

It was popularized in Lucky Star, when Minoru introduced himself in one entry of Lucky Channel with "Wa-wa-wa-wasuremono!", in reference to the Haruhi scene. The rest is history.
