unfortunately, mtv discriminates beck, because he's too good to be often in this channel, his music is too alternative for the teens listening to taylor swift, miley cyrus and those talentless artists

He's really the only "relatively" mainstream thing that's any good these days. This and indie stuff. But MTV is reserved for run-of-the-mill mass-marketed crap by no-talent "artists".

@NYCLondonTokyoChic Indeed, it's funny though I grew up with Beck and he used to be rather popular! But Gamma Ray was the last song I heard on the radio by him and that was right after that album got released, since then no more... so I feel you.

@wasabihansen Thank you for pulling the words straight out of my mouth! I am 12 years old, and I am SICK AND TIRED of all these terrible artists dominating the music world. People my age don't understand real music like this! MTV used to be 'cool' back in the 90s, playing good music, but now they've gone down hill. The problem is, they think he's too 'old' to appear regularly on their shows. It's honestly really stupid.
