Many people are claiming it to be a hearing aid. In 1924 Siemens made a compact, pocket sized carbon microphone/amplifier device. How sweet it would be if it truly was a cellphone.

George Clarke's original post on the subject. Very Interesting.

  • Imagine she was thinking,"Awwh I only get to walk in for 5 seconds?" Now shes famous in the future!

  • I have read all the comments and have concluded the following.

    1. It is not a hearing aid. That would have required a cord and large battery to power.

    2. The woman is talking to someone not seen. That can be seen in the clip.

    3. If she can travel through time, it is possible she doesn't need a tower to use a phone.

    4. The device is not long. That is her hair, so anything in her hand must be very small, ruling out a radio or walkie-talkie.

This leaves two choices. Mental ill or Time Traveler

  • @DrTimes99 or space traveler

  • It must be Rocking Horse Shit!

  • Meanwhile In Syria..... I can't believe the news runs this kind of stuff. Ok yes i can but still.

  • @DrTimes99 Or she's just scratching her cheek.

  • Silly people, you don't need a cell tower or time travel to talk on a star trek communicator. That is obviously Sulu.

  • this is crap, even if she was time traveling there worn't any cell antennas at that time :)

  • @nealx 'cause she is talking to the director and trying to hear what he says behind the camera.

  • @DrTimes99 it's a hearing aid 'cause LOGICALLY in that year didn't exist cellphones. Second, it is a silent film so I can affirm that the women was talking out very loud to the director and trying to hear what he said to her. The solution I give to you to the enigma is simple and logical adjusting my opinion to evidences and right thinking.

  • @DrTimes99 she is holding her mouth open, it doesnt mean she is talking..it could be something related to her deafness that causes her to do so?
