The solution to the diffusion equation can be explained by starting with the concept of the random walk. This video presents the "derivation" of the solution to the diffusion equation in one dimension. This video is part of a class project to produce educational videos on topics in biomedical transport. The course is taught for seniors in biomedical engineering at Indiana University, Purdue University at Indianapolis by Evan D Morris, PhD

  • WOW, the 4th grade is learning something in master's level calculus. That is child labor!
