@KyleParkin0 The size and inlet/outlet combination you use is completely up to you but feel free to call our Tech Line at 800.979.0122 if you need further assistance.

@SpeedwayMotorsInc Interesting. Hopefully I'll adjust to it. I already am used to some drone. I have a 5.0 Explorer with the Super 40 series. It also has a slight amount of drone. There was a period I was driving with the mufflers disconnected right after the H-pipe. That was loud but had no tone to it. This sounds like the American Thunder series I had previously after it goes through puberty. And it really does seem like there is a small power gain with the 10 series
Which would be better to put on a 2003 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited V8

@bravesfan1893 In terms of exterior sound levels, the Super 44 will be the loudest, while the Super 40 will be the quietest of the three. Please note that the 40 Series family of mufflers may be too loud for some daily drivers, but this is based on personal preference. If you are concerned about ground clearance, the Super 40 will be the largest dimensionally at 5" thick while the Original 40 and Super 44 both share a 4" thickness.

@bravesfan1893 And all three styles will produce very similar horsepower gains. Please visit Flowmaster’s website and YouTube channel for more sound clips and information.

I just installed 10 series on my Cammed out '05 GT. AWESOME SOUND. Feels like I gained a smidge off the line compared to my American Thunder series. The only downfall is the bassy drone on the highway. You think some sound deadening method in the trunk could help elleviate some of the noise?

@TekMan05 Installing additional sound dampening in your Mustang is not going to help the problem. If the drone of the 10 Series is too unbearable, then you need to go back to the quieter mufflers. Adding any additional weight to your vehicle (ex. sound dampening) is going to offset any positive horsepower gains from the 10 Series muffler, which will take you right back to where you started.
