These were mild builds and hit around 18-20 mph. The hard-core HO drag racers have hit 80+ mph (yep you read that right) and a couple of the inline motor guys have been around 100 mph.

The chassis are Johnny Lightning (ebay), motor is a gold wire mean green (ebay) and I made the wheelie bars out of brass rod and a WD40 nozzle cut down and slid onto the brass rod.

There are many places to buy a drag track from nowdays. Maxx Tracks and a couple of others but I heard that Auto World is coming out with a snap together drag track with all the timing accessories around Christmas time. You an pre-order one too.
