This battle is still commemorated every 12th July by Protestants in Northern Ireland and other Commonwealth countries
It signified the end of Jacobite intentions in the British Isles and prevented a French Catholic invasion of Britain from the West
A constitutional monarchy was then ushered in and religious tolerance for all was granted.Presbyterianism was made the established religion in Scotland
There are even celebrations in the Republic of Ireland in Donegal

Great looking figures and terrain. What a wargame should look like.

Nice use of pictures and period music. My little boy and I are now wargamming with plastic 1/72 figures of the 16-18th century. We mix Conquistodors, Japanese Samurai, English, French and Ameridian units in battles of our chosing as well as historical encounters.

Hi, sounds like great fun. Better start saving some cash for when he wants to start collecting the metal 28mm stuff!
