@KIZILIRMAK Because Turkey's "modern secular" government is too busy trying to impress the American and European imperialists. Mustafa Kemal is not the hero many proclaim he is. He sold out Turkey to the western barbarians. He also destroyed all of the achievements of the Ottoman Empire. He destroyed mosques. Turkiye belongs to the Turks, not European and American wannabes. Bring back the Ottoman Empire.

Roya, has Taliban killed him?

I thought he was killed by them, but I was told that it was an unconfirmed rumor. He died during that era when they were in power. Sorry, I don't have more information.

thanks a lot for this song. I want to inform everybody about words of the song. my wife's father wrote these words nearly 20-25 years ago in Afghanistan whose name is Abdulrahim Oraz.

i have never seen that drum before. what kind of drum is that???
worldmusicfan 3 years ago
I don't really know. A one sided drum that's played under the arm, in Persian, is called "zeer baghalee" but this one looks like the bigger of the two drums of a tabla set that's been turned on its side? I don't think the 'zeer baghalee' has the versatility of sound that this drum has.
