In all honesty, Lana fans, you're looking at Marina's guise of Electra Heart. Electra was created to be the corrupt side of the American dream, a vacuous woman and the opposite of everything Marina stands for as an intelligent musician. So basically you're saying Lana, who you idolize, is like Electra... a vacuous teen idol? Seems legit.

People should focus on and appreciate the individuality an artist has, not spend their time comparing, or they'll never hear the things that make each one different. There may be elements which are reminiscent of other videos or songs, but it shouldn't be dwelled on, if it bothers you just accept it as "inspiration". I LOVE this track, it's so creative and beautiful :')
