"Wizard's First Rule" Book Review [HD]

My review of the first novel in Terry Goodkind's long-running "Sword of Truth" fantasy series, "Wizard's First Rule". Is this shelf-eating epic fantasy worth picking up? Or should you leave this tome beside its derivative brethren on the rack? Watch my review and find out!

@erikouwehand Ya, I've seen three or four episodes. Looked fun but I held off on it because I thought it migth spoil the books, which thus far I prefer. Will be nice to catch up on once I'm a few books in though (since I doubt any spoilers that far along made it into the few seasons the show lasted for).

@phantomsdaydreams oh shit, i watch the whole first season!! and almost the second!! but never mind,,, still gonna read it,,, i also watch the lord of the rings movies and then readed the book and i still love it

@erikouwehand Oh ya, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm sure they didn't get some of the stuff in the book and the different structure and added characterization would still be cool to read.

i like legend of the seeker better. kahlan seems like less of a heartess bitch and is smarter. or at least thats my opinion.

I got The Wizards First Rule as a gift when I was 12 and I have been reading them ever since, and I'm still waiting on the next one to come out, should be any week now. I can't wait!
