This video is so nice. It sums up everything I've wanted to say but couldn't put to words.

I understand that religion can bring people to do many good things as well as many bad things but good or bad, i believe it's simply wrong when people do things based on religion, not based on his or her own wants and needs. Nothing should be forced upon people. They should have a free mind and they shouldn't blame religion for their actions.

i agree with everything other than not helping you when you are sick because scientists create cures and vaccines and 93% are atheist if i remember correctly but that is probably america bust still that was beautiful

i showed this to my christian mom, trying, once again, to convince her that im atheist, not lost or 'just need saving', i hoped that this would show her that this is the path i chose, and that we both have our own beliefs and mine is just different from hers, not 'wrong'. after watching this video, my mom simply asked "what?" and i explained "mom, im atheist, not christian, i CHOSE this, its not wrong, and i am NOT lost" she simply replied with "you're stupid"

@StygianDawn Sorry. I guess you didn't quite understand what I said. In my statement I didn't pull any type of card, and also I'm not generalizing. It's a fact that 90% of my friends are atheists, but it's also a fact that they can't argue why they choose atheism. That's what I'm trying to say, I'm not blaming, nor generalizing, I'm just talking of my experience. Just trying to understand. And like you I have met many violent and hateful atheists and theists, but I have also met very kind ones;)
