@mcosolitear It is, you just don't want to use the same epoxy on the guide wraps as you would on the handle.
-
so the epoxy is only on the guides and not the entire rod?
-
i dont get it.............
i want you to name the product.
i want tuna fishing type
-
Where do u buy the machine, the epoxy, and the string?
-
@STUPEDAS0, a washing machine is rather large for one. You can get a 6-24rpm motor from dayton or barbecue motor rotisserie as you stated. You might want to look for a battery operated motor too. I got an old one I've had for 30 years and works great. My first Rod was done without a finishing motor, this can be done without having to rotate the rod by hand for hours.

not a very exact looking 50/50 mixture? that not risky?

Very informative. Washing machine motor?? Haven't heard that one! I use barbecue rotisserie motors purchased at thrift stores for almost nothing.
after 100's of rods only the first one caused me a problem and that was before Flex Coat gave me the secret to putitng the finish on

No I do not use that, I use a motor especially for Rod Turning, however, there has been some clever things done, so I have heard. Happy rod building!!!
