Crysis on Samsung LCD TV Full HD

Just a small test i did to try PC output on my new Samsung LE40M87BD.
I used the max resolution and max settings ingame.

Many LCD TVs can not show as many resolutions as real monitor.
So technically you will end up with a black screen if you use the wrong one.


For some reason the Samsung had problems finding the VGA signal.
I had to change some settings to get it working.

Using a HDMI cable is better if you play games on a tv.

dude nice setup,but i think you need to buy a xbox gamepad for pc,this shit with mouses and keyboards really suck :\

Xbox360 controller i great but for a game like crysis i prefer a mouse. To use it with Pc you need that USB add on too.

@Supreeme83 no! i´ve got a windows pc xbox 360 pad, which fits with xbox console too. i´m ego shooter fan since 12 years but after getting used to the xbox pad, there is nothing more comfortable than playing games with a tool thats designed for.

it´s not harder to control quick headshots with the pad- it´s just too easy with the mouse so u are used to it.

anyway i´m interested in your lcd tv. do you have any video problems playing actual hd games from pc?i wanna buy a big ass tv too

@jackaldigital Only thing i found was you have to make sure you have a resolution set on your pc that your tv will support. Or else you don´t get any picture.

Samsungs tvs have had problems with the onoff button from what i have heard, you may want to get another brand. I have zero problems with the one i have.

Before U buy any samsung tv put SAMSUNG TV CLICKING into a google search to read why THOUSANDS of samsung customers are screwed and pissed off.

Never had problems but it sucks that it does not have a real power switch, it´s always in standby unless you unplug it.
