Double Secret Hop Bottom Compressor Tour

February 18, 2011 - Chief Gas & Oil take our legislators Lisa Baker and Karen Boback on a tour of a natural gas compressor that isn't currently pumping gas. People need to see and hear these things when they are in operation at full volume, otherwise its like buying a car without a test drive, and you're relying on the word of a salesman. The second station in this video should be the one they tour.

Why does it have be my job to provide more accuate tours of compressor stations via Youtube videos than the gas companies should provide?

Yes natural gas is bad lets kill the weals for the bluber and heat our homes with that.

so you dont know what are in the emissions, but assume they are bad ? I would suggest you research the emissions compared to that of a an automobile. Natural gas typically runs cleaner. Modern engines in stations like this are equipped with catalytic converters and emissions equipment. I hope we see more of these stations and move to operate out cars on the gas they pump.

@NEPAghostrider I'm glad you love it. This video was posted because Cheif Gathering wanted to put a bigger station than these 1,300 from 4 schools in Dallas, PA. Would you want your children to breath this in, or deal will an explosion?

The worker at the Button Rd compressor informed me that Williams bought that site from Cabot recently. Williams also bought the compressor called Lathrop (not to be confused with the Korban compressor in Hop Bottom/Lathrop Twp) This is located on rt29 at the Springville-Dimock line.
