beltre isnt the answer, they have polanco, derosa, or a possible division trade for ugla( a natural 3rd baseman)
they could make a move for another top of the rotation guy.... dealing happ...
if pavano wasnt so injury prone he could be a decent mid rotation fit or backend, moyer shouldnt be back on the team, but will be.
I also think you make a move for a guy like fernando rodney, put him in the back end of the bullpen, if lidge is back after his surgery, you have 8-9th locked down
