  • I will say this. This is my posting, and I can restrict all comments if I choose. This was not posted for negative comments. But, to share a bit of history, and the legacy of Rev. Charles H. Nicks, Jr. I will began to block any user who abuses this!!!

  • The only thing I know is his heart stopped

  • When I Made this comment, it was a polite way of saying, everybody's heart stops when they pass away. So, leave it at that.

  • James Cleveland has been dubed as the "king of gospel music but after hearing the music of Rev.Nicks I think that title belongs to Rev.Nicks. What was the cause of his death because he was so young. He left us way to soon. Really loved the way he could make an organ talk and talk and talk.

  • Reverend Cleveland's "King Of Gospel" status stems from him launching and being instrumental in so many Artists careers. Reverend Nicks was a phenomenal writer and SUPERB organist but he was more centered in Detroit with the Adult Choir whereas Rev. Cleveland was EVERYWHERE because of the GMWA

  • @THGMusic08 He married a woman, why, how?

  • @dallaskenn You're going to open a can of worms.

  • @Zowyla This is true. I suppose this is what THGMusic08 is so paranoid about. Don't forget Bishop J.D. Husband.

  • @Monk3597 Cause of death AIDS, just like with James Cleveland, they loved boys. I know a few they took with them

  • @THGMusic08 Hello. Would you please provide me with information regarding the purchase of Rev. Nicks and JD's videos. I will be most grateful. I can be reached at jbess001@columbus.rr.com or 614-264-1940.

  • @THGMusic08 Where would u be able to purchase it at???

  • Thank you so much for posting this. It is a legacy that cannot and will not be replaced. Please contact me on where to purchase the service. I was present at the homegoing but not aware of the purchase of it. Again, thank you. Pastor Nicks was a long time friend of my family (The Barrett Sisters) and I enjoyed several wonderful fellowships at he and Lucille's home in Detroit. Be blessed in all your endeavors, Ron Barrett

  • What a wonderful Man of God, though I did not know him, but to watch this clip and listen at the testimonies, I thank God for patrons of gospel music who paved the way for singers like me.

  • I'm very awere that twinks aint dead.

I was saying they are on the same level when it comes to organ playing.
