This will make your PC's performance a little better by clearing unused services you do not need.

Go to start - Control panel
Administrative tools - Services

right click - properties - select "disabled" on these services only!!

I think its worth leaving a lot of these services alone, unless you know exactly what they do and what you will miss out on if they aren't running.
