The stick shaker's going, the airplane is staggering through the air, bend the throttles over the damn stops! They never touched 'em. The only guy who did the right thing that day was Lenny Skutnick.
Agreed, tall32guy. Additionally, the captain seemed too arrogant to listen to his co-pilot. ABCNews reports that the NTSB found the crew didn't have enough experience to question the captain. To me, that means the captain simply didn't want to hear it from his second-in-command.
The bottom line is that if they didn't have the experience of flying in the snow, then they shouldn't have been doing it, plain and simple. I know there was probably a lot more to it than that, but, that stuff should just be put on the back burner, when it comes to lives at stake!!!!! Sheesh!

I loved this programme. This crash, especially the CVR recording, haunts me every time.
