Chroma key test in Super Smash Brothers Brawl

Since I wanted to use such effects in my upcoming machinima I looked for a way to chroma key in Brawl.
I think it turned out quite well.

what stage did you use? or was it the ocarina code where the stage is black?

No it's a special stage with a special code required, but it's imperfect. Anyway if you have msn or icq, write me a pm with your contact info. I can explain everything in detail if you like.

If this is what I can expect from your upcoming machinima, depending on how well it'll be executed, I'll watch. This is definitely interesting. (Their feet are a bit of a concern, though)

Yeah, their feet are cut off at the bottom due to the camera angle I had to use.

I still have some trouble with the stage I'm using. The edges of the stage leave a black line after I make the background and blocks invisible. And these lines in return can't be made transparent without making parts of the characters transparent.

But then again I won't be using much chroma-keying before episode two and I haven't even started to work on episode one. So there's still time to optimize it.

@gabecounts112594 I'm not really using this channel anymore. I have a video called "Green and Blue Screen" on my current channel that provides the necessary information on how do it.

The video is quite dated and there's a way to do it without the need for an extra code by now ... I just have to get around making a video about it.

Chroma key is based on shade and color so as long as its a different shade it could be used but we'll nvr no

What color background did you use? Fox's pants are green, and falco is blue, so...

Sure... why don't you actually show them DOING something? I mean if they aren't moving or fighting, it doesn't really reflect how it's going to turn out...
