I have done well over 20 knots in a sailboat many times, but to do it for 24 hours, the adrenilane rush must be intense, and the helmsmens, concentration as well!! Phew!!

Actually there was only 9 crew members, one left boat because of knee infection (ofcourse there was also a media crewmember, but he wasnt allowed to help racing crew)

These boats are quite fast but my Westerly Cirrus 22ft (1970) is faster.
