@Gustavo11pr I've been to both. If you wanna party hard I recommend the Occidental Grand Flamenco the Disco Mangu is freakin' insane. You will be surprise the things that go down over there.

I agree, all of Dominican is safe!!!!!
I've been to Dominican 3 times, actually just came back from there & all diff't parts and never felt unsafe!
As for club Mangu....good times & a lot of fun, especially when they have the foam parties.

@meridiano976 Thats not true! You have to know to the places you go, Santo Domingo its NOT dangerous everywhere! If you go to Santo Domingo you'll have a blast ;) Mangu is good to ;) have fun!

How far is this club from Barcelo Punta Cana? I am still undecided between Barcelo Pta. Cana and Occidental Grand Flamenco.. Any advice?

hey guys im 19, im going to punta cana in july with my family nd since i love deadmau5/house/techno i really want to go to this club. ive been to the the dominican republic before but have never ventured outside the resort. just wondering nd ull have to mind my ignorance, how safe is it?? good security?? answer would be much appreciated, thnx.

@shaunlf08 Just be smart, stay away from dark and isolated places and weird people. The bavaro zone (where the mangu disco is) aint that risky.
Always bearing in my mind that Police doesnt really control hoods.
On the contrary downtown S.Domnigo is dangerous there's nothing to see therefore better not going there. Hope it helps. However u'r gonna love it enjoy ur holiday ;)
