The title, from the PC Engine version, was changed for the US release. Alas, it is not as intriguing as the Japanese original, as the letters were change from being formed by alien creatures (the only one I don't highly like is the one forming the "U" in CRUSH) to vague alien parts. I guess one aspect of the game had to be altered in order for Hudson Soft and NEC to legally distribute it to North America by Naxat Soft. It's still a interesting screen, nonetheless, and the color cycling of the background creature's eyes (though they are brighter here) still remain.

In the bonus screen with the green aliens and skulls that was first entered, that was the first time that flying alien (it had been referred to as a petrodactyl) had came out of the hole, and I had recorded that moment! Two of the four bonus levels are demostrated here, as well as getting a bonus from the tenticloid.

Recorded from a real TurboGrafx-16. This game is available on Virtual Console for 600 points.

  • No, I don't, sorry. A YouTube user named Sunteam, though, had uploaded the music from emulation some time ago, so try searching for his video on it.

  • @OceanBlueKirby Man, do you have the soundtrack (gameripped from the game)?

  • OK. I haven't seen any offical release dates anywhere, though.

  • I think so I heard it was already released in Japan but not in North America yet

  • Are the WiiWare and Virtual Console releases different from both countries, however? This is something I had been wondering about.

  • reminds me so much of midnight magic

  • oh ok

  • I've known that from your profile. Usually both countries recieve the same titles and are considerbly the same region (probably for a certain correctness, though, I might have just said "North America" :P.

  • oh but I don't live in the US thought I live in Canada

  • I've heard about it, all right. I'm not one-hundred percent sure if it's coming out to the US, however.
