END THE FED!

Whenever any form of government becomes destructive to these ends [life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness], it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government.

- Declaration of Independence

All experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

"Inflation doesn't matter because it only affects important prices."

Have these people been to the store recently and looked at the bottom of everything in there? Everything in stores nowadays says "MADE IN CHINA". Last I checked China was a foreign country, therefore pretty much everything you buy is an IMPORT.

Seriously do Fed Chairpersons and CNBC pundits ever think before they say such blatantly outlandish things?

Don't we import basically everything from oil to all that crap made in China? So the argument that a weaker dollar is ok because domestic prices don't rise is total bunk

Thats a big problem and its bothersome. But I don't think it's really related, at least not directly, to the financial problems we're facing.
