Motorcycle ride U.S.A. to Panama Canal

Here are some of my favorite moments from the Halfthrottle trip. The trip ended up being 13,000 miles long and I rode in 9 different countries. Looking back sometimes I can't believe I actually made it in one piece.

It was an epic adventure.

@USStateSponTerrorism That is a tragic story. It would be pretty difficult to find out the name of the rider who was killed. I would call the embassy in Guate and ask if they keep records of deaths in country. If you happen to remember which state the bike was from that could narrow things down.

@halfthrottle This happened before the Internet was in common use so it would've been difficult to investigate on my own. Actually I would like to tell the guys family that it wasn't an accident,that they planned the whole murder n tried 2 make it look like an accident.The guy who called ahead at the border didn't think I could understand Spanish n I didn't look at him or pay attention so he wouldn't get suspicious.I think the guy's family should know about this n Negroponte should be arrested.

@halfthrottle office I went in the wrong direction to leave the building and had to turn around and as I was walking by the conference room, the sonofabitch was wadding up the paper and throwing it in the trash! He covered up the murder of an innocent American delberately! Years later I found out on the Internet that Negroponte had been responsible 4 encouraging brutal tortures and murders of dissidents by the President of Honduras at the time, Roberto Suazo Cordoba.THIS IS NOT ALL THAT HAPPENED

@halfthrottle ..When I passed the soldiers I thought to myself that they would probably call ahead just as the guy at the border had done, and they would have another group waiting to kill me, so I got out of Guatemala as fast as I could. Then I went to the US Embassy in Teguicigalpa Honduras and reported it to that BASTARD John D. Negroponte, the CIA station chief and Vice Consul at that time. @halfthrottle The US has no friends in Latin America, believe me. They want what we have, the money and prosperity, and they like individual Americans, but they hate our government, it doesn't matter if they sign agreements with us or have foreign trade, they still hate our government. The communists n guerrilla groups look for ways to get revenge against America and so sometimes they stop a busload of tourists as they did in about 2006, get everybody off and then shot all of them,about 16.

@halfthrottle The guy on the Honda went flying through the air at 80 mph! He splattered against the side of the truck so hard that I knew that there was no chance he would live. The truck blocked most of the road,on purpose. I thought quickly, I'm a witness, they're going to kill me also because it was obvious that it was a planned murder, so I put the right side on the road n the left in the grass as I went around them without even slowing down.The driver looked at me like he wanted to kill me.
