Update: This video is the official music video now as I've been asked by the group that made the song to be their video editor. So this is technically the official video now.
So ever since this song surfaced the internet, I have taken the responsibility to make a video to it. And now it is finally complete, the video to the infamous "Those Minerals" song, which is a rap song about the super fun process of scanning planets in Mass Effect 2.
The song is written and performed by Kabuto the Python. Thanks very much to him for making this great song!
I have recorded about 95% of the footage, however there were several clips (like the Harkin one) that I had to get off youtube. So thanks to you youtubers for those several clips!

@Garland999 Wrong, YOUR Commander shepard isn't, the CANON Commander Shepard is 100% male. Due to the fact that about 80% of all Mass Effect Shepard's tend to be male, so don't try and use some sexist feminist shit against the male Shepards when you're in the minority.

I'm not normally a fan of rap, but if this song played during the "exploration" sequences instead of the lame-ass music this rap is based upon, I'd find the experience a lot more enjoyable.

If Bioware has a resident marketing genius, there's a way to turn this little song into pure gold by endorsing it at virtually no cost and including it in ME3 as an easter egg or whatever. I'm not quite decided on how they might accomplish such a thing, but as successful investor I see the potential.
