AFL players are top notch when it comes to fitness, just like rugby, league and soccer/football. Thing about the NFL is that it has never been adevertised as an endurance sport at all, anyone who knows about the sport know its about being explosiveness. Which is exactly why you get the heavily muscled guys that are fast in the 40, and the speed guys that are just below olympic sprinter times in 100m-200m, because the sport allows them to be.

@Dimitri0809 I don't know about that. If in practice, or some sort of drill, maybe not most NFL players. But many NFL players arent conditioned to run for as long without rest like they are in the AFL. So there's the other side of it.

I doubt an AFL player could push over a NFL players it just doesn't seem likely that would never happen unless the NFL player didn't see it coming or he got pushed from behind..

We all know the guys in the pads are a different beast than these Aussie rules guys. Your boys are bread for a game where they have to keep going without as much stoppage. Can you imagine the hits made if they went full bore? They do not. NFL would scout them if they did.
