PLEASE READ FIRST
Derek and Marti have always been close. When Marti hears Nora threaten George by saying she would take custody of Marti if they got divorced, Marti becomes scared and tells Derek. (The scene where Marti hears this takes place in the middle of the video) So, the song is basically like Derek telling Marti that she will always be in his heart no matter what happens. And the lines "They'll see in time. I know. We'll show them together." Is like Derek reassuring Marti that their parents will eventually stop fighting and they will all be one happy family again. But will they? I guess you will have to stay tuned for the series finale to find out!
