This is one of my favorite discoveries, using frozen olive oil instead of butter when making bread. Try it and let me know what you think.

  • Whats the difference between regular flour, and bread flour??? Thanks!

  • @hebrewschool99 Bread flour is milled a little differently and makes bread a little lighter. You can do it with all purpose and it will just be a little heavier.

  • are you using bread flour?

  • @shag733 I normally do and did here

  • WOW!!!

I just made your bread and now understand your moment at 7:45. Best bread I've tasted hands down!

  • @cookingfordads it probrobly just my cooking haha Keep up the good work!

  • @shag733 Hmmm, I don't know what exactly is the problem. I've made this about 10 times, I'm making it on live TV tomorrow, 5 times. I'll message you the link of the video tomorrow and you can see if there's any difference in how we're doing it. sorry it wasn't better.

  • @cookingfordads Taste wise YES, but internally the bread was still not as fluffy as your. This time I tryed your pull-apart bread, and it was still doughy inside almost as if it needed a second rise after rolling and forming the loaf. I followed your cooking instructions, and it required around 25-30min, if I would of cooked any longer the crust would have burnt.

  • @shag733 really, so many people have made this with great success. did it work better with the bread flour?

  • @cookingfordads I Tried this with All-purpose flour, and it was NASTY! haha, I even let it rise for around 4-5 hrs... So I picked up some bread flour today, and its just about ready to roll out...

  • @shag733 Actually I am here, it's better, but will still work with all purpose flour, just not quite as light. Check out my new recipe for Buttery Pull-apart bread.
