The Ashtabula River Ford. A location on the Ashtabula River (Ashtabula County, Ohio, United States) where travelers can cross the river in their vehicles.
Haha just a few days ago..Me and my BFF almost drowned in there..We were being total retards and letting tha current carry us downstream wen tha river was rlly high..And I live right down the street from there..So I go down there ALLL tha time.Too bad u dont have any pics from that tree thats fallen down there now in the river. We jump off it all tha time..[As long as the water is deep enuf]..lol!
I'm from Ashtabula but living in Louisville Kentucky. Ah, the pictures of the ford bring back memories of my first marriage and the night that I stepped on a broken bottle while walking barefoot in the ford.
Wow, I grew up going to that Ford with my Grandpa, Jay Alberts. Just watching this I can feel the hairy, soft moss under my toes and the warm, smooth water running over my feet. We caught crayfish, frogs and minnows in that water. Thanks foor posting this.

Excellent and relaxing. Love the Ashtabula County, though I live in Cuyahoga County

I live in Ashtabula Harbor. I don't like the way the city is being governed, but there's nothing like going down to the river.
