@Tar2006 Hi.... Thanks for your comment.. I do not want to use literal translation from ASL to English Subtitles. It would sound funny. As you know that ASL has its own structure and English also has its own structure, I am trying to get VOs + Subtitles and ASL work together fluently so Deaf and hearing viewers can enjoy the show at same time. I can experiment different approaches and show them to the viewers and see what they say.. I will adjust approach until we satisfied. :)

@Tar2006 Yea I agree with your point of view. I think that would be great idea to put like (curiously) thing like that.

In my opinion, You would put every words on video what there talk and action too... When the action start, put like this (Running), (Thinking), (Curiously), etc.. Your project must be great challenge =) Looking forward to that

Yes, I do understand where you come from. Wow.. it is hard for me to give some answers because I realize I need more time to think on this. Be sure to keep the context of ASL verison, rather than English verison - Know what I mean?

@ASLeslie Yes... I understand what you meant about ASL Version and English Version... From feedback I received, I decided it is best to leave ASL version as it is. I will figure out what to do with subtitles and VO.. look forward to hearing your feedback when you get back here... :D

I know what you mean, Aidan. I would like to share your vlog and question with my colleagues at work. Your concern about one language being forced to accommodate another language due to the translation process is a very valid concern which I share. Cultural issues are indeed involved. It is a very challenging thing to attempt. This is why I do transcription (English version) rather than caption or subtitle. I'll think on this some more before answering.

@shelpotma1 You said it perfectly... That is what I am concerned about... With my show, it is impossible to do transcription.. My show is a talk-variety show. If you watch Ellen, Oprah, Wendy Williams, Dr Oz... Would you want to read transcription instead subtitles or closed caption? I look forward to hearing your answers. Thanks..

My advice is the facial expressions tell it all instead of repeatedly saying it in America Sign Language. It will probably solve this problem and save you a lot time!

@LaLaChika57 True.. Good point.. When I see the facial expression and it is very clear... I wondered should I go ahead and translate into English subtitle. :D Thanks for your suggestion.
