one of Singapore PCF K2 2007 graduation concert

What a shame that the teacher in charge never stand at the parents shoes to think how the parents watch this show on stage. Parents couldn't locate their own children who under the masks or at the back of the tails.

My child totally upset after seeing this clip that she couldn't be seen at all throughout the show

Totally disappointed for the money paid and time wasted.

As for the child, she felt upset after this concert that she refused to go to school for 2 days.

Many parents keep quiet even they were not happy, because they thought it happened, even after feedback, thing won't change

I choose to feedback because it will happen to other children next year or following years again if the educators never learnt from their mistake (but they don't know is their mistake)

After I feedback to school, seem like everyone in charge is pointing finger to each other. Very sad story.

A real world for six years old kids to face.

Hope educators learn something here

  • Your child should be happy she had the honor of even being taught. On my first ever kung fu graduation I could not be seen in the picture, yet felt still accomplished. Kung fu is my life, and I may be crossing the line, but I feel not going to school for two days because you couldnt see them under the masks or tails. It is tradition. It is a play; a dance. They are the costumes so to speak. look at any other video. You will see that the people cannot be seen.

  • Being taught by dragging around?? Do up and down? Who would wish their children to learn this?

  • This isn't a fully preformed version on the dragon dance. its very basic because not all children's intellectual skills can match that as to learn a 200 step routine. All I am saying is that this is normal, and until they are 10-12 they most likely wont learn the REAL dragon dance. Read some history. The real heads are 25-80 pounds. The moves take flexibility. Anyways I guess I am just argumentative but I just thought it was a little odd that you got so upset.

  • You only can understand me if your child is involved.

The only simple thing that the in charge teacher needs to do is teaching the children to take off all the mask at the last 10 seconds.

Who is willing to sat there for hours, end up couldn't find their children?

I am not complaining about the lion dance, the purpose of the video clip uploaded is to show how upset I am about the so-called teachers involved, they should stand in the parents shoes.
