To be honest with you mate, i grew up with during the britpop phase. I loved it, and still do to this day. Im not sure what people classify as "indie" these days, everyone has their own opinion on what indie actually is. To me its just an over used word that means nothing now. See i disagree with The Enemy when it comes to lyrics, they just write about stuff i already know, its been done before and is nothing new to me. When Kasabian came out they sounded unique, broke the mould at the time

I don't think you can tell me what type of bands i like just because i said they have catchier tunes. Just because a tune is catchy doesnt make it pop or 'middle of the road' as you said. Also I'm probably as far away from the norm in my generation as you can get. I'm not even a huge fan of The Enemy, but there better than a lot of the stuff around at the minute, and they sing about proper stuff, not about the usual indie subject of having trouble with girls. Not implying this to Kasabian.
