Grayson is radical liberal blowhard that has tried to bully his opinion down everyone's throat. No one listens to him anymore-he'll be voted out in the next election just like all the other arrogant, uncompromising assholes of his party-regardless if he thinks he's Bob Dylan-what a joke.

@snuffyguff Alan Grayson has an interesting history. I am sure that if he hadn't taken those whistle blower cases, more american troops would been electrocuted by miswired showers and poisoned by rotten food. The Bush admin sat on the cases while people were being killed in an effort to improve profits just a little bit. For this alone, he is a hero.

The majority (99.9999%) of foreign medical graduates come here, fill primary care positions. They fill positions that US graduates do not want.
The average annual salary of a primary care physician can expect is 100k. That is good money already. The average specialist can triple that easily. So if you're a medical grad in the US looking to pay off your debt,.... you would choose a specialty over primary care any day.
The ones that would quit are the rich specialists.

Michele Backman "hurls insults" all the time, did she get reelected? Also, your argument is moot about illegal immigrants because they can get health insurance RIGHT NOW by buying it from an insurance company (whom I'm sure love that extra business) The public option would be just like any other insurance company, just one run by the government, so it wouldn't give any additional rights to illegal immigrants. And Grayson's right: people die from no insurance, and repubs like the status quo.
