billy riley was was underated as a sun records artist. he should have been as big as jerry lee lewis.

Mmmm, classic BLR song w/JLL on pno and the Sun 'house band' I suppose. Hmmm, can be DW Holland and Roland Janes. Maybe Malcolm Yelvington too...just go from memory

Jerry Lee Lewis played on Billy Lee Riley's "Flying Saucers Rock 'n' Roll" and "Pearly Lee" before concentrating on his solo career. He was a member of the Sun Studio Band.After his career was on top he becam replacement by a pianist named Jimmy Wilson.
