During the 90 day challenge, it is recommended that you eat protein at every meal and snack. Protein contains amino acids which are the building blocks for your muscles, they assist with hormone regulation, and they support brain chemistry. Eating protein throughout the day not only helps keep your blood sugar more stable but it also helps with regulating your mood and keeps your metabolism high. Whey protein is a highly bio-available form of protein that can be readily consumed after workouts. Many studies have shown that consuming protein within 15-20minutes after a workout can assist with recovery and increasing strength.
